What time does the services start and finish?
Our English Service starts at 9am and finishes before 11.00am.
Our Cantonese Service starts at 11am and ends around 12.50pm. Mandarin translation (via headphones) are available for the those who need it.
First Sunday of each month is our ONE service, where there’s a combined service for both English and Cantonese congregation at 9am. Again, translation (via headphones) is available for those who need it.
What’s Lighthouse preaching like?
Mainly a teaching based preaching style with a strong emphasis on life application.
What’s your children programme like?
Everyone worships together for the first part of the service. Children are then prayed for and sent upstairs for their own program,packed with activities including bible crafts, object lessons, stories, skits, games, songs & much more. For more information, check out our Sunday School pages.
What facilities do you have for families with babies?
- A dedicated seating area (with ample room to put prams)
- Kitchen facilities for heating up milk/food.
- Baby Nursery Room
- Nappy changing table
Where should I park when I come to Lighthouse?
We have a number of dedicated car parks along the side of our building. The car parks of some of the neighbouring units are also available for use on Sundays. There is plenty of off street parking along View Rd.
How can I become a part of Lighthouse?
You become a part of Lighthouse simply by showing up, relating with us and becoming involved. We do not have formal membership processes or requirements.
Does that mean you don’t expect anything from Lighthouse members?
No. As a church, Lighthouse expects its members to live by the biblically based principles and teachings of Christ. We encourage all members to particpate wholeheartly in the life of the church. This includes::
- Worshipping regularly.
- Growing in faith by participating in life groups.
- Serving God in Lighthouse, the community and the world.
- Cheerfully giving to God’s work.
